My journey in the arts began in childhood, with a background in painting and drawing that has shaped my perspective and skills. During college, I balanced playing football with co-founding and serving as the creative director for an outreach organization dedicated to supporting Black students, an experience that honed my leadership and design abilities.
My name is Zuri, and I am an UX/UI Designer who lives in Cincinnati, OH. I graduated college in 2024 with a deep-rooted passion for design and creativity.
My UX design journey began with my expertise in design. It was later inspired by my desire to help others, a passion reinforced by my time as a home health aide, where I saw firsthand the impact of thoughtful, empathetic solutions. Now, I use tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Claude, and Figma to combine my artistic background with my commitment to creating meaningful, user-centered designs.
